Only authorized employees on a need to know basis have access to and use of personal information collected from individual customers. The laws of the Republic of South Africa lay down specific offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data, and as such we will investigate any unauthorised actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.
Any information concerning the Students and their respective Student records will not be passed by us to third parties without the Student’s express or implied consent. Student academic records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party without the express prior consent of a Student unless we are legally required to do so to by appropriate legal authorities. Students making use of our services have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Student records we keep regarding them, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. Students are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue Student’s with any written information, hand-outs or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties
